BAP INDEX – Academic Journal Index evaluates and indexes academic journals in all fields of science according to multifunctional criteria.

BAP INDEX Evaluation Criteria

1. Publications should be Peer Reviewed and include an editorial process,

2. Each article must have at least two peer reviews.

3. The journal should have an open access policy,

4. The articles in the journal must comply with research and publication ethics.

5. It should be visible to readers and authors that the journal has chosen one of the Creative Commons Licences.

6. In the articles, the level of contribution of the authors, whether there is a conflict of interest with each other and third parties should be shown.

7. Articles should have the format requirements and standards required for scientific articles,

8. Publications in different languages should have English title, abstract and keywords,

9. References must be in a specific format (AMA, APA, MLA, AIP, NLM, ACS, etc.).

10. The date of submission, date of acceptance and date of publication must be indicated in the published articles.

11. Details such as the ethical principles of the journal, publication policy, archiving policy, writing rules, etc. should be available on the web page.

12. Article pages in the journal should be restarted every year, and page integrity in a volume should be consecutive.

13. The journal should have an ISSN number.

14. At least one issue must be published for the index to be submitted and at least two issues must be published for the index to be accepted.

15. A journal that has been rejected by the index board cannot be resubmitted within at least three months, or the board’s reasons for the incomplete article should be sent by the journal management as a list of necessary changes.

16. Journals accepted to BAP Index are required to indicate this in their journals.
